Ok, I have to ask...
What do you guys have against TeamSpeak???
I never see you guys on using it at all. I personally love it.
So.. what keeps you from using it? (Inquiring minds want to know!) *LOL*

Re: Ok, I have to ask...
lol Team Speak ... Where do I start . Noisy dead ppl. turning kills into kia's. Feed back from others that wont set up a push to talk button . Thats that echo you here when you talk . That drives me nuts ! lol I use a vibrating head set and my puter is packing a not so bad sound card . So yes I guess I have sensitive ears .. The better to hear you with my dear . Well i guess if things were set up right . Like when you die you can't talk . ( Ghost or tell jokes ext. ) it wouldn't be so bad. Then there's the ppl. that come on and don't say anything ... Then you find out they have been listing to your team's movement's .. And he's on the other fricken team kicking your ASS !!... And there's the lag problem , I also find that TS and Xfire give me lag . Ventrilo not so much . I totally agree that it could and does help out in '' Team '' play . But I am here to play AA and have fun doing it .

Re: Ok, I have to ask...
NNC always has TS set up with a dead channel. I had that and mute set up on hot keys to switch back and forth to when playing. Usually the players that wanted to play quietly ened up playing with their sound muted ( I know. Why have TS at all then.) or the ones that wanted to BS stayed in the dead channel.
I've seen all the issues that HL talked about except for the lag. I've never noticed that associated with TS.
I can take it or leave it but it can be fun. I found after playing and talking to the same guys every night I knew more about lives of player half way around the world than I did about my next door neighbor.

My take on TS
Ok I really like using TS and here are the reasons,
1. I don’t type very well so it makes it easer me to communicate with my team to complete the missions.
2. I also get to know ppl better and its more fun joking around with my friends.
3. Personally I miss using it.
4. I have never got any lag do to using it even with my old computer.
The only 2 draw backs I see in using TS is that being on an other clans TS is that there was so much unnecessary chatter that would give me a headache.
The other was for me, I was more able to respond to the ppl on TS then I was to ppl typing in using the in-game chat screen.
In closing, The ATR clan when we were on our TS there was a lot of fun going on but we did not have a lot of the noise that I experience on the other clan TS.

Re: Ok, I have to ask...
Thanks Coop.... I know for me, playing the game without it..... the game just loses something.
If you were in real battle, you'd be able to yell to your buddy "Hey Look Out!".
Thanks again,
Dave/DChamp
