Is it Karma?

Well, I'm thinking it was my boasting about using a Mac to play AA with you all. For the past 18 months, I've been running Bootcamp on a dedicated drive in my Mac (running Windows on that drive) to play AA and be a part of this most incredible clan. But...

About two weeks ago, something happened. Shortly after I tried the 213 server for the first time, PB kicked me. Finding out that it was PB seeing the Mac behind the windows, I stayed away from 213 but now I can't even play on the old servers either.

Not sure what to do at this point - hoping that perhaps some of you might have a suggestion. I miss playing with you all and want to come back in.

I own a Mac because it works so much better for my job (photography and video applications) and I can't afford to buy a new Windows machine. My next step will be to re-install Bootcamp (Apple app to allow Windows to run on a portioned drive) and Windows. Give me a few days to try that. If that doesn't work, perhaps I can upgrade my Mac OS system (running one version shy of the newest) which has an updated Bootcamp.

Any thoughts would be great. In the meantime, I'm with you in spirit.

Sorry to hear of your computer woes. It doesn't sound like karma though. Just OS compatibility issues. I've a friend who runs windows on mac and uses bootcamp. Although he doesnt run AA, he may shed some light on the version change.

Well im not up to speed on your troulbes but if i rember this started hapning when we began streeming to AON live pb for the hackers. if thats the case we should STOP doing that on one of severs so you can atleast get on one of them, we dont need to keep streaming on all of them if thats going to prevent bear from playing..

Oke, first of all,
Bear, your problem with PB has nothing to do with AON,
second: AON gives lag: nonsens only the 213 is streaming atm. so the lag on the other servers is coming from something different.

1 more day here in fucking spain, then i will look into the mac\bootcamp vs. PB, ive seen this thing happen more.


The only time AON gave lag to a server was a PB faillure, ive checked this out before i began to stream with the 213 (btw this was in 2006)
