Nose injury 7 months ago?

I injured my nose last year November. i was swimming and bumped the bridge of it on the wall. I went to A&E straight away because my nose was swollen. The nurse told me not to worry because it didn't look crooked, she told me to wait for a couple of weeks. I waited and i saw a slight improvement, but my nose was still swollen. I went to my GP he told me not to worry because i wasn't strong enough to break it. He told me to wait several months as the nose takes along time to heal.
It's been 7 months now my nose has reduced a lot, ut it's not the same as before. The bridge still has a bump and my nose is more thicker than before. Just when i think my nose is starting to heal it gets swollen all of a sudden. When i cry/have a flue my nose says swollen for days. I
Is 7 months enough time for my nose to heal or shall i wait a little bit more?
